In the Navigator, select the QUERIES module and click PERSONS.
The Queries: Personnel window opens.

On the left you can see all available search fields. Search in any of them, enter any number of criteria, combine them, and get exactly the information you need. Results can be used for list printing and individual record printing.
The general query process: define conditions the persons you are looking for must meet, then click SEARCH.
portier VISION shows matching persons in the Results tab.
Example: find all persons in a specific department who hold two or more keys:

First condition: in the KEY COUNT row, select GREATER THAN OR EQUAL. Enter 2 in the first search field.
Second condition: in the DEPARTMENT row, select EQUAL. Enter "Sales" in the first search field.
Click SEARCH.
In the RESULTS tab, portier VISION shows all persons in the Sales department who hold at least two keys.

To process results, select the relevant records. Select individual records by clicking in the MARK column. Additional options:
Select all: marks all found records
Deselect all: clears all selections
INVERT SELECTION: unselects what was selected and selects what was not
SELECT CURRENT ROW: marks the current row
DESELECT CURRENT ROW: unmarks the current row
Find all key copies recorded as lost or damaged. In the Navigator, select QUERIES and click COPIES.
The Queries: Copies window opens.

At the top, specify whether to search across all Installations and Buildings.
In the COPY STATUS row, select EQUAL as the first condition. In the first search field, select LOST. Select OR as the link. As the second condition, select EQUAL. In the second field, select DAMAGED. Click SEARCH.
In the RESULTS tab, portier VISION shows all copies recorded as either lost or damaged.
Find all keys currently issued and not yet returned. In the Navigator, select QUERIES and click ISSUANCE.
The QUERIES: ISSUANCE window opens.

In the ISSUANCE DATE row, select LESS THAN OR EQUAL. In the first search field, select CURRENT DATE. Click SEARCH. In the RESULTS tab, portier VISION shows all copies currently issued and not yet returned.
Find all keys issued and returned during your holiday. In the Navigator, select QUERIES, click More>>, then HISTORY. The QUERIES: HISTORY window opens.
At the top, specify whether to search across all Installations and Buildings.
In the ISSUANCE DATE row, select GREATER THAN OR EQUAL. In the first field, enter the first day of your holiday. Select AND as the link. As the second condition, select LESS THAN OR EQUAL. In the second field, enter the last day of your holiday.
Click SEARCH. In the RESULTS tab, portier VISION shows all copies issued and returned during your holiday.
